  • Who can enter the challenge? Down arrow

    Participation in the Challenge is open to students actively enrolled in educational institutions, regardless of discipline. The Challenge isn’t available in all countries worldwide. Please see the terms and conditions for more details.

  • How do I sign up? Down arrow

    You can register with this form. Registration for the Challenge opens January 28, 2016.

  • Can teams have more than 5 members? Down arrow

    Your team must have at least 1 and no more than 5 members. Unfortunately, we can’t make any exceptions to this rule.

  • Is there anything that can disqualify a team? Down arrow

    Do not enter any apps that were uploaded to Google Play or the App Store before the Challenge begins (January 28, 2016). Also, make sure that all of your team members are students (actively enrolled in an educational institution) when the Challenge begins. Finally, your app must comply with AdMob’s policies.

  • How can I communicate with other participants? Down arrow

    Connect with other Challenge participants, alumni, and fans on our Google+ page, where we’ll also provide frequent updates on the Challenge. Or, try CollabFinder to find people to join your team.

  • Where can I download a business report? Down arrow

  • Where do I upload my business report? Down arrow

    First, write your business report with Google Docs. Then, use this form to send us the link to your business report, and make sure you share your document with learn more about sharing documents, see here.

  • In what languages can I submit my team’s business report? Down arrow

    In English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Traditional or Simplified Chinese, Korean, Japanese, or Indonesian.

  • Where is the Challenge happening? Down arrow

    The Challenge is open to teams from four regions: North America, Latin America, Europe Middle East & Africa, and Asia Pacific.

  • How can I find my AdMob Publisher ID? Down arrow

    Log into your AdMob account and go to Account Information. You’ll find your publisher ID on the Account > Account settings page.

  • How can I find my app store URL? Down arrow

    Open Google Play or iTunes, and copy the link from the app store page.

    Online classes taught by top instructors and industry experts. Access free courses and take them at your own pace.

    • Android Development for Beginners

      Learn the basics of Android and Java programming, and take the first step on your journey to becoming an Android developer.This is the recommended course if you are new to computer science or developing your first application.

    • Developing Android Apps

      This course is intended for students with at least 1 year of programming experience in Java or another object-oriented programming language (for example: C++, Objective C or Python).

    • Product Design

      This course is intended for students with a foundation in Computer Science. You should also have interest in design and some familiarity with the current entrepreneurship scene.

    Codelabs Training

    Google Codelabs provide a guided, tutorial, hands-on coding experience. Most codelabs will step you through the process of building a small application, or adding a new feature to an existing application. They cover a huge range of topics such as Android Wear, Google Compute Engine, Project Tango, and Google APIs on iOS.
